I may not be winning any fetch awards, but I will win over your heart with my snuggling skills. If a night of snacks, snuggling and sitcoms is your thing – we may be a perfect match. My name is Winston, and I am a nurtured 6-year-old German shepherd.

I know sit and drop it, for a treat I will even shake and lay down for you. I am OBBSSESED with my stuffed animals and I do great on a leash, even when other dogs yell at me, I just mind my own business. I sleep most of the day, but I very much enjoy my daily walks and going on bike rides with my foster family. I have lupus (this is a lifelong condition) which is why my nose looks the way it does so regular vet checkups are important for me. I would love a big back yard but have done great in the townhome I am currently living in. My foster mom loves to give me all kinds of hugs, kisses, and snuggles and I really enjoy that. I also love to help her cook in the kitchen (I love food, like really love it) and lay in her office all day while she works, I know I know, I am the ultimate companion.

I am not sure how well I do around kids and other dogs, like I said…I REALLY love stuffed animals, so a small fluffy dog might confuse. I would really benefit from a quiet home where I can sleep and relax as I get older.
